Preserving Your Bridal Bouquet: A Before and After Look
Rebekah and Seth chose our preservation services after their September 24th wedding at the Steam Plant in Dayton, Ohio. Wedding planner Pink with Envy collaborated with top wedding vendors to achieve the couple’s aesthetic of “Brooklyn Chic”. The richness of the industrial brick lit at golden hour provided guests with an intimate feel of city life and cozy ambience as Rebekah and Seth exchanged vows surrounded by a backdrop of lush houseplants and candlelight. As guests found their seats at the reception they were greeted by pressed flower table numbers designed by our Preservation Specialist. Details of the day were captured by the talented Washington D.C. photographer Sam Hurd.

Rebekah’s bridal bouquet included a mix of bright and colorful jewel tone blooms with pink ribbons paying tribute to her beloved sister. Floral V Designs used Baroness garden roses, peach stock, coral ranunculus, Free Spirit roses and locally grown zinnias and dahlias. The coral dahlias were grown at Floral V Design’s shop by the team of equally talented floral designers and green thumb enthusiasts. Delicate accents of rosemary and chamomile were supported by a sword fern and Italian ruscus base.

Rebekah chose a 4X4 Square and Multifaceted resin blocks for her order. Each piece showcased how well the flowers retained their rich pink, orange and coral hues during the drying process. Our resin artist selected a variety of flowers to represent Rebekah’s bouquet in both pieces. The 4X4 Square resin block displayed the bold Baroness garden rose, soft peach stock blooms and the prettiest orange zinnia for her mother. Rebekah’s Multifaceted resin block emphasized more of these blooms along with a Free Spirit rose, coral dahlia and accents of chamomile and greenery.
